Caroline Broadhead is a highly versatile artist who began designing jewellery in the late 1970s. Since then she has extended her practice from wearable objects to dance collaborations and installations in historic buildings. This book presents a comprehensive overview of her work. In considering the boundaries of the individual and the interface of inner and outer, she explores the notions of personal territory, presence and absence, substance and image through objects, light, shadows, reflections and movement.
